Error 39 When Installing Driver Aztech WL230USB for Windows XP SP3

If you getting Error 39 while installing the driver for Aztech WL230USB in your Windows XP Sp3, the solution is below.

1. Rename the WlanUZXP.SYS in ndis5x folder to WlanUZGV32.sys

2. Delete the ndis6 folder (created when you extract the WL230USB Drivers v3.x)

3. Then  update driver from device manager at the Control Panel

Howto Set Proxy at Mozilla Firefox

Firstly click at the upper left corner of the Firefox as show below

Then choose Options. When you click option, the following will be displayed.

Click on the Advance tab.

Choose Network tab and click Settings.The following will be displayed after you click the Settings

Finally put the IP Address of the proxy at the HTTP Proxy field and the port number at the Port field as shown at the picture above and then click OK. Now you can use your Firefox with the proxy enabled to browse the web. Good Luck !

Prepare UTP Cable Using RJ-45 Connector

1. Measure and cut enough UTP cable. Make sure you cut a little more than the amount of the actual length required. (2 inches from the end of the cable jacket.)

2. Cut and tear jacket using a "stripper". Make sure you do not damage the cable.

3. Untangled knot in the cable and straighten your fingers. Cut the cable end so all the same.

4. Based on the chart below, arrange the position of each color wire will be inserted into the RJ-45 connector.To make straight cable,both end should have same type and to get cross cable, both ends should be different.

5. Based on a diagram above, insert the cable into the RJ-45. Hold the "RJ-45 Connector" to clip them face down and not facing you. Slowly enter into the cable openings. Ordering cable wiring must be in accordance with the prescribed rules (Type A or Type B).

6. Make sure that the distance between the end of the cropped wire and the outer jacket is about 1/2 inch.
so that the cable is fitted firmly with RJ 45 Connector.

7. Check each wire color code. Make sure it is in the correct order according to the connection type  (Type A or Type B).

8. Use the crimping tool to secure the cable to the RJ-45 connector. Make sure the cable connector with tight binding and no sway. Tighten up the cable using the Crimping Tool. Refer the diagram below for guide. Press the Crimping Tool to pierce the cable connection in the connector.

9. Check the cables on both sides that have been clipped (Crimp). Make sure it is in a neat and safe to use.

10.To test the connectivity of the newly installed cable, we can use typical Cable Tester. Plug one end of the cable (RJ-45) jack on the Master Unit Network Cable Tester and the other end to the Remote Terminator.

Yii Application In The Making

I just follow the tutorial for Yii at http://www.yiiframework.com/doc/guide/1.1/en/quickstart.first-app and the followings are the snap shots:

Please enter the password as provided in the ../protected/config/main.php and you will be directed to the following page:

I will not follow the table stated in the tutorial since I will use my own table i.e alumnidata2 table which holds my ex-student information during my time in the school a few years back.
 But before that do not forget to set the database that we are going to use in .../protected/config/main.php,  in my case I use database named alumni

Now choose Model Generator and enter the information required and then click Preview button and then Generate button.

After you click Preview button, the following will be displayed:

Now I will create the CRUD code as I going to manipulate the alumnidata2 data.Choose Grud Generator and the following page will be displayed:

Click Preview button and then Generate button and the following will be displayed:

After you click Generate button the following page will be displayed:

Now I will access the CRUD page by clicking the "You may try it now"..and the following page will be displayed where the page will list down all the alumni data from the alumnidata2 table

To create a new data, click Create Alumnidata2 at the upper right corner of the page and we will be directed to the login page as shown below:

Fill the username and password field. The default value will be admin for both username and password.
After login you will be redirected to the following page and then we can begin to key in the data so that it will be inserted into the alumnidata2 table.

The login as the administrator, we can click at the Manage Alumnidata2 situated at the upper right corner of the page and this page will be displayed:

We can manipulate all the data of the Alumnidata2 at this page.
Now I come to the end of this Yii application development and what I can say is that I do not have to write any codes for the above application :)
